[When the feed turns on, a young girl can be seen in what presumably is one of the Goldenrod Inn's rooms; no longer is she dressed in that trademark pink dress of hers, but rather the alternative dress she was given upon arrival. Her hair isn't pinned in those two braids either, instead worn down and hanging loosely down her back. It's probably evident that she's taken a shower beforehand and is using the dress as a nightgown since she doesn't really have another spare set of clothes yet. She looks a bit exhausted, but it's to be expected when you've been travelling for quite a while.]

...H-Hello. This is Juniper Woods, for those of you who are unfamiliar with me. Um, I just wanted to mention that I made it to Goldenrod City.

[It was quite a long and tiresome trip, her state of health considered.]

...I, ah, was supposed to be meeting with a few people once I arrived, so...if you'd like to schedule a time to meet up, that would be fine with me.

But I digress... I, um, I was wondering if any other breeders would mind giving me some breeding tips...? I-I've read through the guide, but I've never actually put everything to work... I'm interested in seeking employment at the Breeding Centre, so I'd like to know how to do it properly before I apply.

H-hello, Juniper. I am a breeder too, and um-

[Chihiro breaks off for a moment, seemingly distracted by a Growlithe who keeps hopping forepaws first into his lap with a cheerful bark. He seems to be making a game of it, leaping back onto Chihiro's legs each time he patiently lifts him off.]

I haven't been here....terribly long, but I can try to help you if I can.

Hello, Chihiro. Ah, that's fine, just any assistance is appreciated...

[What questions to ask first, hmm. ...Better to start off with formalities.]

...Have you, um, bred anything before?

Well uh.....I haven't actually....successfully bred anything yet...

[He glances down and plays with the edge of his skirt a little, blushing.]

But I do have some plans. I have a pair of Persian I received recently I plan on breeding...and I want to try breeding Porygon sometime.

[To answer your question, Chihiro has done absolutely nothing yet oops.]

Oh! Um, it's fine, I was just wondering...

[She's on the same boat, too, Chihiro. It's okay.]

...But Persian, huh? And, ah, Porygon...? Those sound interesting...

[Chihiro nods before turning his Gear a bit, enough so Juniper can see two big cats sprawled over his bed. They're both wearing matching collars, and both seem to be very depressed and listless, especially compared to the Growlithe bouncing on the bed.]

This is Rich and Alice. They....

[He drops his voice a little, but the two don't seem to be paying him any mind anyway.]

Their trainer left a few weeks ago, so I've been watching over them. And...this is a Porygon.

[Give him a moment as he sends you an image. He would show you Zip, but he's busy deep in the Gear somewhere tinkering with a project that Chihiro gave him.]

Oh my, the poor things... [She can only imagine how terribly upset they feel about losing their trainer.] That's very kind of you to take care of them, though. I'm sure they're really appreciative of it...

[She examines the picture she received, tilting her head to the side.]

What a peculiar Pokémon. I've never seen anything like it on my way here, though you've probably been here a bit longer than I have...

Their trainer was someone I knew, and they left them in my care. I hope they'll cheer up soon...

[Considering the fact that this is Togami's second disappearance, he's not sure how likely that will be...]

I don't think Porygon are common in the wild, if they even show up at all. They are a man-made species, actually...that's why they interest me so much. You can win them as prizes at the Game Corner if you're very good.

Ah, then that person must have thought you were quite trustworthy.

[She can see why, though, given how sweet Chihiro is.]

A man-made species...? I didn't even know that was possible...but, ah, I'm not very good at games... [Honestly, Nanami had to assign her the task of playing the default ones on the Gear.] I'll agree that they're quite interesting, though, if they're man-made...

[It's strange, Chihiro and Togami were the last people you'd ever call close and yet....well, here we are. Perhaps even he couldn't deny that Chihiro does have a gentle disposition.]

Mhm. You see....I'm rather fond of computers and programming, so I have been studying them recently. That's why I want to breed them.

[He's also acquired a dubious disk, which he hopes to attempt using at some point.

There's a beat of silence.]

A-ah....I'm sorry. ..M-my name is Chihiro Fujisaki.

You and Thena would get along, I think. She was pretty fond of technology, too.

[As to be expected when you grow up around robots.]

Ah, yes. She's one of my best friends, and I've known her since I was a child. But, um...she isn't here in Johto. If she was, you two would get on well.

I see....I wish I could meet her, Juniper-san. Perhaps she will show up someday.

If she does, then I'll definitely let you know.

Are any of your friends here, Chihiro?

Oh...yes, actually. Quite a few of my classmates are here. The trainer who owned Rich and Alice was one of them.

Oh, I see. You're very fortunate to have them here.

[He nods, again pausing to peel the Growlithe from his lap. CHILD.]

I'm glad they are here, yes. They, um....well, they were really the only friends I could.....say I have, back home. They are important to me, now.

[...Pretty grateful her own Growlithe isn't like that.]

Ah, I understand. I'm the same way about my friends.

[His only excuse is the fact that he hatched fairly recently...so he's still a baby, basically.]

Ah...are you? Sometimes it is a bit hard to make friends..

I agree. I didn't have that many friends when I was younger because I got ill a lot...so I couldn't go to school much. Thena was pretty much my only friend until I got into high school...

Mmm....I didn't go out much either, unless I really had to. I preferred to stay indoors and work with my father's computer.

Staying indoors is fine, I suppose, but...I lived up in the mountains in a forest. The nature was really pretty, and the air was quite pure. It was hard for me to stay inside for that matter...

[Chihiro offers Juniper a small smile.]

That sounds very nice. I've been trying to get out more recently, actually...I'm hoping I can travel to new places here someday and experience somewhere like that.

Hopefully, you can. It's a very nice environment to be in.

[Considering the toxic fumes from the city is enough to induce one of her coughing spells.]

It's very convenient to have a garden, too. I had my own, and I grew many things.

Oh, a garden? What sorts of things did you grow in it, Juniper-san?

Oh! Um, fruits and vegetables...like oranges, carrots, and lotus roots, and flowers like sunflowers, tulips, and roses.

[I'm going to be haunted by this through every bit of CR, I can feel it.]

That sounds lovely. Where I lived wasn't very good for gardening, I don't think....at least I can't remember my father ever trying to tend one. I do love flowers, though.

If I'm able to start up a garden while I'm here, you can come see as many as you'd like.

Oh, thank you. I hope that you can! There are many Pokemon that could help you with your gardening, too. Like water types or certain grass types.

Mm... Well, I have a Sunkern right now. I haven't gotten any water-type Pokémon yet, but I'll keep a look out. Once I've gotten everything set up and the flowers have bloomed, I'll be sure to let you know.

[If she intends on staying in Goldenrod for a while, then that shouldn't be too hard.]

Any time would be fine. I am probably going to be here at the house for a while in Goldenrod...I'll let you know if that changes.

Mm... Perhaps sometime next week? Or the week after? I'm still settling in, so I wouldn't want to rush...
